HOW ABOUT THIS?
There is a French company that is working on technology to run vehicles using compressed air. We need our government to fund research here for something like this. Could you imagine a 33 foot RV running off of compressed air tanks that are refilled using only the power of a natural gas generator and a pump to refill the tanks as you drive. The same generator that the RVs already have on board. If the generator used the equivalent of 1 gallon of natural gas per hour at $ 2.10 a gallon and could travel 60 miles, WHAT A SAVINGS. Some thing like this could make RVing affordable again and save the industry.

We could then focus on improving our solar capabilities and other fuels so that we don't just focus on natural gas because, even though we consider it in abundant supply now, we can run out in the future. Isn't our lack of vision what helped to get us into this mess in the first place? We will never run out of the sun providing energy and the wind will continue to blow but all fossil fuels will be gone some day. We need to remember this as we move ahead.
