Fight corporate greed

I believe the biggest problem with America's current economy is GREED.  I am sure that there are many Americans that do not feel the effects of the current recession. I wonder if there is a way to get Corporate America to help deal with our country's current economic struggle...


HOW ABOUT THIS?

What if our government promoted corporations to cut back on top executives pay and take this additional money to increase the lower salary employees compensation?  I am going with the

idea that if the lower salary Americans had more money to spend... they would.  But how could our government promote this type of change?  What if there was a corporate tax deduction based on redistribution of employee compensation?   I wonder if you look at any major corporations payroll and calculated what the average salary was..  then determine what percentage of employees make below the average salary.  I believe that they would find that over 90% of their employees make less than the average salary.  If the government could persuade corporations to redistribute salaries, I believe the final outcome would be more people spending money.  The corporations could reap
whatever benefit the government would allow as well as a prospering economy where everybody wins.  This is just a thought, but I am very interested to hear how others would feel about such a plan.
Reduce the Federal Deficit. Get the budget under control. Balance the Federal Budget!  Comments on what is going on in Washington!

This is a good idea? How about we cut your pay to the lowest wages earned for comparable work and give the money to people that won't work? They will spend it for sure. Better yet, why now have Washington just print more and give it everyone making less than $50,000. Cut me a break!

I think this is a great idea. What is wrong with a little equity? Dave isn't talking communism, he is talking private industry based stimulus. Before someone tells me the CEO's and other big shots are worth the big money that they get, save your breath, the current economic situation has put that lame idea to bed. The CEO's making millions drove hundreds of companies into the ground and now we have to pay for them. So put that lame argument to bed. Good plan Dave!

Sounds communist like to me. Why not have the feds set all of the salaries? Don't believe in the free market? Move. Plus, you get what you pay for. The companies have to hire top talent to keep the best getting better
